Junior Canadian Rangers receive instruction in military, traditional and life skills. Much of the training is on the land.
The Junior Canadian Ranger program is a partnership between the community, the Department of National Defence and other federal and provincial departments.
Members of the Canadian Armed Forces including the Canadian Rangers, elders and local adult committees in the
community take an active role in providing
leadership. and mentoring the Junior
Canadian Rangers.
The Junior Canadian Ranger program is designed to meet the needs of aboriginal youth ages 12 to 18.
